Optional Newspapers are newspaper articles from The Daily Dispatch, containing information regarding Dungeon Nightmares' lore.
This page contains screenshots of all 7 Optional Newspapers, which can be found in Night 1-7 hanging somewhere on a wall in one of the rooms in the dungeon. The player doesn't have to collect them to progress to the next level, but collecting all seven Optional Newspapers (as well as both film reels found in Nights 4 and 5) is required for getting the true (good) ending. Failing to collect any of the seven newspapers will always result in getting the bad ending, even if all other newspapers have been collected.
